Napa Sew & Vac discovered Miele at the 1984 Reno Vacuum Cleaner Dealers Trade Show and Convention. I was so impressed that I wound up trucking the Miele booth home to Napa. I barely made it home, suffering two flat tires, both coming down from Donner Pass. Thank God for the gas station opened at midnite, selling me a used tire to come home on. I was the first Dealer opened at the convention and the rest is history. Napa Valley residence were quick to catch on and our European customers were happy to see the familiar brand.
For a short time, we spear headed Miele's distribution in Northern California by spawning Carpet King Industries, our Miele distributorship. With the help of friend Drew Cox, we opened the first fifteen dealers in Northern California before handing over the business to Sierra Select Distributors.
One of the newer additions to the Miele Vacuum Line-up is the S7 Miele Uprght Vacuum, with tools on board. Years on the drawing board and extensive field trials, earned Miele a successful introduction. After 3 years in the pipeline, this upright has a proven service record for durability and performance. It is second to none and a good value at any price. Surprisingly, you can own this magnificent vacuum cleaner for the price of a Dyson. Miele S7 Upright Vacuum Cleaners start at $429 and it's called the "Twist", "and it goes like this", after Chubby Checkers dance tune from 1959. The Miele upright uses a bag constructed with a specially formulated filter material that captures debris while allowing the vacuum to maintain airflow.
